Success: Everybody's child?
Any wonder why it is said, “No one succeeds alone”?
Success, I guess, is a product of many people. In contrast, failure is considered the result of one person, who must be willing to carry the cross alone. Success is everybody’s child.
Aren’t we selfish and opportunistic if we want to always be on the winning side? Not in my opinion. People want to identify with successful people, champions, and if possible, always be on the winning side. Remember, however, that no one succeeds alone.
Focus On Your Success and Don’t Accept Defeat or a “NO” for an Answer
Many People don’t want to be associated with failure for any reason. Success shines and glitters into outer space. It extends without end to the horizon and into the sky. Falling into the already open waiting arms of people, who sometimes hadn’t been seen in the picture. Those strange people just hang around because of your success.
Failure, on the other hand, reflects defeat. The pain it causes affects the mind, the heart, the soul, and ultimately one’s life. Therefore, someone who succeeds after failing so many times is considered a super-human. Do you know why? Because they say falling isn’t the thing.
The real point of contention here is when you fall, what do you do? Do you continue to stay on the ground forever? Or do you try to stand up again, but in an extraordinary way, too? If that is you, with that willpower within, then you’re the type who does not accept a “NO” or a defeat as an answer. Worse still, for a bad situation to dictate your life destiny. Always remember that no one succeeds better than success.
Why IS Failure and Success Like Twin Sisters?
What is surprising is why failure is nearly always related to success? In other words, very few people make it to the top just at once. Some people fail uncountable times. Why is that so? I want to believe that there are some lessons to learn from this bitter experience called failure. As a result of difficulties, we may mature, becoming capable of handling the practical challenges God has placed in our path. No matter how hard is the path, don’t forget that nothing is better than success.
Pick Up the Baton Once Again and Move On
Oh, my! No wonder they say the winner never quits, and the quitter never wins! In one way or another, many people have had to leave the “the boxing ring” for whatever reason or reasons; I hope some of the lessons learned here will inspire them to pick up the baton once again.
The people going through this trying and difficult time shouldn’t give up but should fight and persevere. With some persistence, you will eventually laugh. Some people still procrastinate, maybe because they’re afraid to fail? People like these need to make their decisions and move on.
First steps lead to a thousand miles, they say. Don’t forget that the pudding’s taste comes from eating it. Don’t just taste the pudding, but also eat it! That’s what is called true success!
