Is life not about buying and selling?
To be honest, taking a close look into the definition of buying and selling, it’s not more than the exchange of one good or service for another. In other words, it’s the give and take, an exchange of goods and services. In our case, I will dwell more on services.
Come to think of it, why do we have to prepare ourselves and our kids to get a better education? Should it be for the sheer love of it, or there’s something behind it that propels us to do so? Of course, yes. All roads in life lead to some sort of self- preparation for the highest bidder. The fore, the fight is all about becoming a well-rounded person, just like a product. The better the training, the higher the demand for their services will be in the labor market where supply and demand determine their worth, levels, and how far they may go in life.
Those Born With Golden Spoon in Their Mouth
Though, sometimes nature shapes some people from the word go or from birth, especially those who were born with golden spoon in their mouth. These categories of humans usually don’t submit to the law of supply and demand, as many of us “ordinary humans” do sell our well-refined and deserved services. The whole world moves by these refined human resources highly needed to turn things around by creating wealth for those who are ready to invest in them or buy their services. That reminds me of the cracks in the Silicon Valley, whose presence here in the US must have caused a brain drain to their home countries, mainly the developing countries. Wherever way we look at it, these guys are well prepared in their respective fields. Most of them have sound professional baggage as well as a ground-rooted scientific and technological savvy compendium.
Life Is All About Buying & Selling (Exchanging Our Services for Money)
No matter how people look at it, the whole thing sounds like saying, give me what I want, and I will show you what you want to see. Yeah, that’s how our present world works. The deal involves a sort of exchange of services, which culminates in, I would outrightly say boils down to money. I also thought of the name, the fame, and the goodwill the candidates acquire—the I’ve been there phenomenon– which may later turn into riches (real money)! The whole thing any away is different than the trade by barter of the good olden days, but still the same idea of BUYING and SELLING.
